Professional experience includes: patient education in community health clinics; research and evaluation projects, focusing on school and adolescent health; and teaching health science at SJSU and Cabrillo College. Special topics of interest include: nutrition, adolescent sexual health, maternal and child health, stress management, and environmental health.
Teaching is incredibly gratifying, because I continually learn through studying and from my students!
