**INFORMATION FOR SPRING 2010**
I will be teaching two online sections of English 1A in the spring. If you enroll in either of these sections, please be aware that you are REQUIRED to attend the orientation FOR THE SECTION YOU ARE ENROLLED IN to avoid being dropped from the class:
Section 65604: Monday, February 8, 3:45-5:45 p.m. in Room 913
Section 65605: Monday, February 8, 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Room 913
If you cannot attend the orientation, you must contact me no later than Friday, February 5; however, I strongly encourage students to make work and/or childcare arrangements so that you can attend, as students who do not make the orientation tend to have a much higher failure rate in the course.
If you want to add the class, you must attend one of the orientation sessions in person. Please note that students who are on the waiting list for the courses will be given priority over those who are not; however, you MUST attend one of the orientations to add, whether you are on the waiting list or not. If you do not attend, I will assume you are no longer interested.
