WELCOME COMM 8 STUDENTS!
You're about to embark on an awesome journey that includes incredible activities and experiences galore! Before you get too anxious to begin, though, it'd be swell if you'd log on to http://www.cabrillocommstudies.com for specific information about Comm 8 (click on "Visit my Home Page" next to my picture). Be sure to click on "Start-up Steps" and read over the information, complete the online Orientation, and read and submit the Contract. I know, it's tempting to just jump right on in and get your feet wet, but it'll be a LOT easier if you complete all those steps first. Keep in mind that we have gazillions of Comm 8 students, so too many emails asking the same questions might just cause me to rely on chai and bon bons WAY too much! Thanks, and we hope you enjoy Comm 8!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!
I've been teaching at Cabrillo College since 1989 and this place rocks! There are no better students anywhere, and the view's not bad, either! I love traveling and won't rest as long as there's another country out there I haven't visited yet. I also love to go to movies and don't have the most discriminating taste. I've enjoyed everything from Napoleon Dynamite to Schindler's List; Borat to City of God. I'm sorry to report that I also love musical theater - "Oklahoma," "Guys and Dolls," "Phantom," "The Full Monty," you name it! Long walks and hikes help keep me sane and my two indoor cats keep me chuckling. I have a passion for writing and wish I had more time to do it. Throw in a fabulous husband, two terrific offspring, and lots of volunteer work and that about sums me up.
