I'm delighted to be teaching Sociology at Cabrillo College since it was at a California community college that my "sociological imagination" was first ignited. I love the field of sociology because it allows me to indulge my curiosity about a wide range of topics (class, race and ethnicity, gender, work, religion, economy, politics, health, mass media...) and gives me tools to work towards a more just, humane society.
